Reports for Geoconcept 2.0 boasts new features, thereby offering users a more comprehensive and open solution while also being easier to pick up for quickly editing customized and comprehensive reports.

GEOCONCEPT, the designer of geographical optimization technologies for professionals, is announcing the launch of Reports for Geoconcept 2.0, the new version of its report design and generation solution.

Reports for Geoconcept enables operational staff and decision-makers to design and publish, quickly and easily, personalized reports featuring rich and varied content (maps, tables, graphs, images, formulae...) from geographical data manipulated in the GIS. Thanks to its ergonomics and speed of integration, this module adapts perfectly to the real needs expressed by organizations in different sectors (retail, banking/insurance, firefighters, local authorities…).

A new table wizard and an improved interface for greater ease of use

Using a single wizard, Reports for Geoconcept 2.0 makes it easier to create and amend data summary tables. In just a few clicks, the user defines the table's structure (type, data source, objects, fields, sorting, header and summary rows…). An integrated filter manager also makes light work of displaying the chosen geographical or attributed data. Different data sources can now be interrogated within the same table.
The multi-document interface enables the user to open several report templates simultaneously.

Grâce à une interface multi-documents, l’utilisateur peut ouvrir plusieurs modèles de rapports en simultané.

Reports with richer and more diverse content

To adapt to all business needs and offer the user the opportunity for even greater report customization, version 2.0 of Reports for Geoconcept has been enhanced with new block and graphics types (table of contents, gauge, smoothed curve…) as well as with new band templates with diverse content (table and map, table and graph...).

The interaction between the map block and the data has been facilitated to simplify atlas creation. A new dedicated feature also enables this new version to simplify the preparation of street indexes.

Openness to relational data and to the web

Another new feature of this version 2.0 is the direct connection between the module and numerous external data sources of the relational database variety, and the ability to interrogate them within one and the same table.
Thanks to a link manager, Reports for Geoconcept 2.0 makes light work of applying a report template to another map. Broken links are detected automatically and it is then only a matter of a few clicks for the user to update the types, sub-types and fields in question.
Finally, Reports for Geoconcept 2.0 also makes it possible to share and publish reports directly from the module to the web.
Reports for Geoconcept 2.0 is on sale with immediate effect and is available in seven languages: French, English, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, German, Chinese.
