GEOCONCEPT announces the launch of the first geomarketing data package on the Indian market

Companies located in India, both Indian and international brands, can now use a comprehensive package of data from local administrative entities to analyse and optimise their operational performance.

GEOCONCEPT SA, the designer of geographical optimisation technologies for professionals, is announcing the provision of the first package of Geomarketing data in India.

This new offering will enable companies to map their activities on the ground and to refine their geomarketing analyses: optimisation of the network grid, location of sales outlets, etc…

As the first publisher to provide a packaged geomarketing data offering in India, GEOCONCEPT is providing a comprehensive and detailed grid of Indian administrative divisions generated by the last government census in 2011: villages, towns and other levels for the country's major cities. With 595,904 administrative units and more than 99% of the population mapped at village and town level, the resulting data are the most comprehensive on the market today.

The integration of statistical indicators for more accurate geomarketing analysis

For even more accurate analyses tailored to specific issues, GEOCONCEPT links 85 socio-demographic indicators to each administrative entity generated by the last census. This offering is being provided by the publisher as standard.

These data will be supplemented in the very near future by additional indicators: 125 types of capital equipment (businesses, police stations, hospitals…), number of households and various economic statistical indicators

GEOCONCEPT is also offering a comprehensive integration of the statistical variables for each administrative unit with a comparison between the results of the 2001 census and the one conducted in 2011. These data were integrated and validated in a number of stages to ensure both their completeness and authenticity.

These data will enable the user to analyse growth trends and developments between the two censuses, whether in terms of demography, amenities, administrative units or the assets in the different regions of the country, to improve knowledge of athe territory and take the right decisions.
