2020-07-17

Once again this year, GEOCONCEPT is recognized by Gartner in the Magic Quadrant for Field Service Management and in the Market Guide for Vehicle Routing and Scheduling

Paris, 17 July 2020: GEOCONCEPT SAS announces that it has been recognized twice this year by Gartner. GEOCONCEPT is positioned for the third time in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Field Service Management, recognized for its Opti-time solution. Gartner being the world’s leading research and advisory company. GEOCONCEPT is also named as a Representative Vendor in the Gartner Market Guide for Vehicle Routing and Scheduling, recognized for its TourSolver and Opti-Time solutions.

The Gartner report on the Field Service Management market, Magic Quadrant for Field Service Management, analyses trends and evaluates providers based on their Ability to Execute and for Completeness of Vision. The Gartner report is a way in which technical field service leaders can compare and evaluate the various market offerings. According to the report, “Vendors’ positions in this Magic Quadrant reflect clients’ new expectations in areas such as collaboration, safety, business models, and AI-driven decision support for parts and labor planning. When assessing vendors, look for packaging of multiple technologies, alliances and proven results.”

The Gartner Market Guide for Vehicle Routing and Scheduling states “the market for vehicle routing and scheduling applications is gaining momentum as more organizations are seeking ways to optimize fleets across first-, middle- and last-mile operations. Supply chain technology leaders can use this research to compare and evaluate VRS solutions.”

In our opinion, to be recognized in both these reports again acknowledges GEOCONCEPT’s expertise in the geographical optimization of Field Service activities. We are very proud of this recognition, which we believe confirms the quality and relevance of our Field Service Management offering as well as our responsiveness to new market demands and to rapid technological change said Eric Lanzi, GEOCONCEPT’s co-founder and CEO.

Optimizing the movements of more than 155,000 field operatives internationally each day, the Opti-Time and TourSolver solutions help companies deliver their services efficiently by optimally scheduling their teams’ working day, taking account of a multitude of business rules, including the most challenging ones (long-cycle, multiday work, forecast working time, return to the depot...)
