Paris,  15 april 2015 : GEOCONCEPT, the designer of geographical optimization technologies for professionals, is today announcing the launch of Geoconcept Web 5.1, the new version of its geographical information publishing solution. Designed to adapt to different user needs, it is available in 3 versions: Starter, Standard and Enterprise. Geoconcept Web 5.1 will go on sale in May 2015.


Powerful, open and user-friendly, the Geoconcept Web solution makes light work of designing cartographic websites on Internet and Intranet and enhancing an existing high performance web service application: cartographic display, Geocoding and reverse Geocoding, route calculation, search around function, matrix calculations, etc... 
 

Thanks to its optimal performance on very high traffic websites and its high level of security, the solution integrates perfectly with professional user contexts.  To make the user's work easier and constantly improve the tool’s performance, web portals built using Geoconcept Web are being made responsive. The solution is also enhanced with new features and new web services.

 

A more intuitive, mobility-friendly interface. 

To ensure optimal use on all screen sizes, web portals built with Geoconcept Web 5.1 are being made responsive. Whether the user views the site on a PC, smart phone or tablet, the display will automatically adapt to the size of the device (access to features, organization of the menu…).
 
Improved features for easier and customized use.

The user will be able to prepare thematic analyses directly from the web interface. Based on the data contained in the map, he simply defines display rules (of the color range variety) and instantly displays the analysis online. Geoconcept Web 5.1 will provide improved management of objects and lists to enable the user to go to the next level in managing data.

A solution enhanced with new geographical web services. 

The library available in the Enterprise version of Geoconcept Web 5.1 will be enhanced with four new web services:
  • Optimization: the optimization web service will enable optimal routes to be defined by minimizing movement times and distances. The sequencing of the call destinations will be optimized based on geographical and operational constraints (timeslot, call duration...),
  • Batch Geocoding: the user will be able to submit a batch of addresses for Geocoding,
  • Address standardization: the standardization web service will automatically convert inputted addresses so that they correspond to the defined standards and to the maximum number of characters permitted (management of abbreviations, deletion of unnecessary characters…),
  • Reprojection: there will be a service for reprojecting data on-the-fly.
